...but, it was an interesting read. It was a little hard to follow, though - is the Arch Way "worse is better" or non-"worse-is-better"?

That makes sense in regards to Arch. Don't over complicate things just for the sake of making it "perfect".

As a software developer myself, I love thinking about which approach to follow. Leaving college I was definitely a "make it perfect" type of programmer, but in more recent years I have certainly seen the value of "worse-is-better". Namely, that software gets finished.
