Didn't know where to post so I got it here.
I use XFCE. I have 3 HDDs. The first in which I have Arch, a second internal HDD for data and and another external HDD for data also. The problem is when I open thunar I don't see the internal HDD for data. The HDD is mounted. For instance if I open Gnome-MPlayer and search for a file I see the HDD normally and can play the file without the problem. But when I open thunar, the internal HDD is not visible in the lsft tree. Isn't it odd?
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks.

I just made shortcuts in the side pane of Thunar to the partitions of my internal HD (go to /mnt/ or /media/ and right-click -> Send to -> Side pane.)

Of course you will have to mount your internal partition with fstab

Yes, but he's saying that the disk is already mounted and recognized by other apps: seems like as Thunar can't see it... I wonder why...
Just as a try: launch an "id" command and see if you are in the storage group.

Hey guys, problem solved thanks to this post. Just had to make a shortcut to the side panel. Still wondering why though.. But anyway.

Its by design that Thunar doesn't show internal partitions. It will show external partitions though.
