Hello all!
I am currently working on a Rivendell Audio package. I had issues with the ./configure file not working in Arch (it does in Fedora) but I got this sorted out with a 'sed' command in the PKGBUILD. Now, during the installation process, I understand that the PKGBUILD makes it so that a package gets installed in a subdirectory instead of the root folder using the DESTDIR environment variable. However, Rivendell's makefile invokes multiple children Makefiles; one of those is located in src/rlm/. The problem I have is that this Makefile tries to absolutely create the /usr/local/include/rlm directory, but it cannot since makepkg n as a normal user. I can't seem to find where in the main Makefile this particular Makefile is invoked, and whether I should edit the main Makefile or the sub-Makefile. Also, did I mention that autoconf is involved in this?
Can someone help me?
Rivendell Audio is a Linux radio automation software. It is still experimental but has seen uses in many school, community and some commercial radio setups.
