Hey !
I've got an issue with the folder /home/user under KDE :
when i go on it my beeper starts becoming mad (it spams beep...) and the folder is freezing, i can't really access to any of the contained file.
This is strange because for example i have no problem going on /home/user/.opera or /home/user/amsn_received. I have no problem with using files located in /home/user too, i just have to do it with konsole.
So if you have any idea^^

Do you have the /home dir under a separate partition?
Which file manager do you use?
Can you run the "ls" command in /home/user without problems?

I use dolphin and yes i can run ls /home/user without problem.
Im not sure for the /home dir because i used the beginners guide and i remember having setup partitions swap, home, root and so on...

Strange...
Then, the first thing I would try would be to run "mount": see which partition is your /home one.
Then, run "fsck [YOU_PARTITION]" and follow it results to see if any error pops out. After checking and eventually repairing the partition, reboot and retry to use dolphin to open your /home/user folder.
If the beep continues, first of all, seeing that you have no problem from terminal, I would try another file manager: thunar, for example.
