I moved from Enlightenment to Ratpoison and i will probably move from Gentoo to Arch.
But we all know: KISS improves your productivity, bloat sells

This is true, but it's also true that Openbox confuses people who don't understand it. "If it don't look like Windows, you're sure as hell gonna have a hard time selling it to the Windows folks." People that love KISS love Openbox.

hehe, I'm an openbox fan from about the first version 3-rc's.
It's the ONLY *box that doesn't feel "cheap and ugly".
No matter how many times people try to tell me, Openbox is the only minimalist window manager short of Enlightenment that didn't feel and look like complete shit.
The themes are usually very professional looking and just overall nice.

I agree with that up to blackbox 0.70, I just tried it and it feels alot more solid and has a good dense look and feel to it. but the older releases, and fluxbox do have a flimsy feel.

I've tried blackbox cvs and the latest releases. I'm not that impressed at all.
I mean.. it's light. But not the professional solid feel of ob3.
