XFCE - Cairo Dock [SOLVED]

I cannot drag n' drop apps from the menu to cairo dock. Is it an option that xfce doesn't support? I don't want to manually add apps to Cairo Dock cause I have to add the apps' icon too and it is too tiring.

Any idea/suggestion?

Thanks!

Yes, I think that function is not supported by xfce. The same happens with docky and gnome-do.

Anyway, gnome-do has also another simple function to add launcehrs, by searching them via gnome-do itself and clicking on the "+" icon.
It is really simple and I think is also more well-integrated than cairo.

Well, I found an alternative way. I also have installed GNOME. I modified Cairo through GNOME and use it in XFCE. Bummer though, but I guess it's the absense of features like that, that makes a DE lighter...

Oh my God! What a huge workaround! Laziness worshipper, uh? wink

Please add [Solved] to the title.

P.S.: why not gnome-do docky style or simply docky?

I just like the variety of options Cairo Dock offers.

p.s. It's not laziness... The simplest way is always the best.. big_smile
