[SOLVED]MAME files

If anyone would be kind enough to point me to a neogeo.zip that sdlmame doesn't complain about and a rom of metal slug3. It seems like I have downloaded every one, but advancemame doesn't really work with any of them. Most either are missing everything or with a
256-c7.bin WRONG LENGTH, and 256-c7.bin WRONG CHECKSUMS. With advmame it does run, but there are little dots all over the screen(which is quite annoying and makes it difficult to play).

SDLmame completely fails to start it, complaining of the bios fles and the same error as advmame above. Help would be appreciated.

I didn't read up on the latest developments on this but as far as I can tell the latest version demands certain new files in every game that many rom sites have not caught up to, if they ever will. Anyway, I am sticking with an older version of mame.

I found the answer. 90% of all rom sites are not up to date(based on my experiences). SDL mame worked perfectly after downloading replacement files from http://www.retroroms.net/modules/news/
I am no trying to advertise them, just pointing out the only successful source of files I found
