HP Pavillion DV9700 Installation problem
Hi
Im having trouble installing Arch64 on my DV9700. 32-bit works fine, but 64bit fails at partitioning of the hdd. The screen turns black and then tons of texts fills the screen. the last line read: start_secondary+01b8/0x1bc
the exact model number is dv9812eo with a 64bit AMD CPU.

I am taking a shot in the dark here, but have you tried a different install image? Could have something to do with your specific hardware that may have worked in an earlier install image.
