Lyx crashes Xorg after pacman -Syu [Solved]

I ran pacman -Syu the other night. Now that I've rebooted from it, I've found that when I try to start Lyx, I only see it open for a split second before the X server crashes and restarts.

I'm not sure what logs you might need to help me out.  Here's what was upgraded - maybe this will give a clue as to what dependency has broken it.

EDIT 2: I checked what Lyx dependencies were upgraded in the full system upgrade the other day.  The only one was qt.  I downgraded to a previous version still in my cache but it didn't resolve the error. Now I really have no idea what could have caused this issue.

Re: Lyx crashes Xorg after pacman -Syu [Solved]

Any other apps misbehaving?
You updated xorg-server too. Try to downgrade it with all the needed dependencies.

Re: Lyx crashes Xorg after pacman -Syu [Solved]

Turned out that okular was producing the same behaviour - perhaps all qt related apps?

At any rate, I downgraded xorg-server and the related xf86-* packages to their previous versions and everything is working fine again. Thanks for your help.
