Calendar program with mapping of holidays

n KDE 4.5 it is possible to turn on the holidays in the calendar, is there a program-analog, which will include holidays, not tied to a DE, probably console app?

Re: Calendar program with mapping of holidays

Did you check the repositories and the AUR?

pacman -Ss calendar

http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?O … _Search=Go

Also, this is not a GNU/Linux Discussion, moving to Workstation User.

Re: Calendar program with mapping of holidays

For most calendar programs out there (eg pal, remind, etc.) someone will have built a holiday file for many countries, or if not, it should reasonably easy to build one that will last every year. So you can probably afford to pick whichever app suits your usage best.
