Hi All,
I have onboard nvidia MCP55 sound. I can get it to work using OSS, but I also use a USB headset which is sort of... non-functioning with OSS. So I would like to try to get it functioning with ALSA. I have tried everything I can think of and read the forums. One was marked solved but didn't say how. Below is an output of every test I can think to run.... if you have any ideas it would be appreciated. If there is anything you need to try please let me know. I believe the MCP55 uses the snd-hda-intel driver.

Ok, I got it to work... I reinstalled the kernel and rebooted. I have _no_ idea what that did. Interesting.
