Ugly font rendering in jEdit

This is how jedit looks on my machine:

I used to have the same problem with Netbeans, but after following what it said here, now the font rendering in netbeans it's okay, but I don't know how to do the same to jedit.

I'm using Arch x86-64 and OpenJDK.

From what I understand, the problem is on the "java" end, right?
