/tmp running ou of space

I recently tried the linux live scripts to build my livecd (www.linux-live.org) and ran the script. It basically does its building stuff in /tmp.

The problem is that I only have 252MB in /tmp, and it is mounted as shm fs.

How can I allow more space to this mount point ?

Umount it so that it uses disk instead of ram (yeah yeah, tmpfs can be swapped out, but who wants that). If it complaints that it's busy then you can try umounting it with the -l flag. To make that permanent edit your /etc/fstab.
