SOLVED Dell Latitude D630 cant suspend / hibernate after docking.

I have a Dell D630 which is running Arch perfectly except for Hibernating and Suspend after I dock it to the port replicator. While docked everything thing works fine although I have not tried Suspend and Hibernate while docked. When I remove the laptop from the dock Hibernate will not attempt to work and suspend will work but it wakes up instantly. I am unsure of which logs to post but I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: I solved the problem by disabling the serial port in the bios. For some unknown reason after removing the laptop from the docking station pm-utils was unable to disable the serial port which prevented suspension. I dont use the serial port but someday I will look in to fixing it from within Arch and re-enable it in the BIOS.
