Hi, I have a V-Server and it would be nice if I could use Arch on it.
The problem is that Arch is not offered and there is no rescue system so I can't mount anything.
Is there still a possibility to install Arch over an existing Debian installation?
I thought about installing it inside a virtual machine and copy the root directory. Is this possible?
Thanks for answers.

You can try something like http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fas … nux_System

I read this and another site already but, as already said, I can't mount files on the V-Server.

I installed Arch in Virtualbox, made archives of [bin,etc,lib,lib64,sbin,srv,usr,var] and uploaded them on my ftp-server.
How should I start to replace the files?
