Hi, I'm relatively new to arch, and I was wondering if anyone knows how or if Japanese and Chinese fonts can be supported under a GUI-less arch.
I've heard using uim and anthy can allow you to type kana and kanji but is that supported without X ?
If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

What have you been using before and how did you use CJKV fonts outside of X?
The bare console supports only a limited number of characters (512 IIRC) so you need at least a framebuffer.

I think there's a thread that mentioned about CJKV font and using it without X.
Including which package that support framebuffer within TTY.
Ask, and it shall be given you.
Seek, and ye shall find.
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
