[jasin@kermit ~]$ glxinfo
bash: glxinfo: command not found
[jasin@kermit ~]$ glxgears
bash: glxgears: command not found
this may sound really dumb, but I was unaware that I needed to install these as a package. Can anyone point me to how I can get these working so I can diagnose a video problem.
Thanks in advance.

i think you need the mesa package for them both.

Kane is correct, they are found in the mesa package.
$ pacman -Qo `which glxinfo`
/usr/bin/glxinfo is owned by mesa 7.0.1-1
$ pacman -Qo `which glxgears`
/usr/bin/glxgears is owned by mesa 7.0.1-1

Wonder, just hit the report button and let the mods deal with it - yes, he bumped an old thread, but shouting isn't gonna help any of us .
