Gaming in vmware or similar

Is there a good virtualization package, like vmware or others, in which gaming will work in Archlinux?

Basically, what I want is, when a game doesn't work in Wine while I'm booted in Archlinux, I'd like to play the game in virtualization software while still being booted in Arch.

Is there anything that works really well, would support 3D games, internet connection, etc...?

Thanks.

This question is VERY google-able, please do so. In summary, virtualbox AND vmware have 3D support, but it ain't too fast so newer games would be impossible.
