Hello.
Recently I installed on my notebook KahelOS which I find superb, but there's one problem: gcc is not installed. So I cannot carry out the "make" command necessary to install linux driver for my wireless card (Realtek 8172).
I tried to download to USB from another PC a gcc repository (from Arch linux) and then to put it in pacman cache and to install it but it didnt work. I tried to unzip the repository but it threw out an error like "not in tar format" or something like that.
I really would like to keep my KahelOS but wifi is a must... Any ideas how to install gcc manually?
Thank you.

Did you ask on the KahelOS forums?

Oh sorry, I didn't, I supposed that since Arch and KahelOS are basically the same in the core, I asked here. Ups :-)

We had this topic, which should make it pretty clear it's not the same. They didn't really put their best foot forward I'm afraid.
