wodim burns waves as 0MB

Hi all,
not much experience in burning cds, so I don't know what to do with this.
I've got some wave files, that I ripped from cd with vlc

$ for i in {01..14}; do vlc -I dummy cdda:// --cdda-track $i --play-and-exit :demux=dump :demuxdump-file=$i.wav; done

They can be played by vlc and seem to have the correct format:

$ file *wav

Of course they aren't empty.

$ ls -sh *

But when I try to burn them to an audio cd, wodim shows the files as 0MB each (and destroys the blank cd )

Try to burn AudioCD with cdrtools.

cdrecord -v -pad speed=1 -dao -swab *.wav
