virtualbox_bin Should be QT shared?

Like I said on aur's comments it should be using Arch QT libs.

I only use Virtualbox headless and with SDL, so if the package is able to build without integrated QT libs then i'm all for it. The question is if it builds like that, or does it always need some QT library to compile?

According to PKGSTATS 87,51 % of Arch users have QT installed on their system. Why use VirtualBox QT libs? It's a waste of memory and you lost your QT theme and fonts config. VirtualBox with Arch QT libs works fine.

because that's how was intended to be. If i remember well,in the past it was like that but because qt system was incompatible with virtualbox it make it crash.

Personally i want it to be stable and if i want, i have the option to use system libs, just by uncommenting two or three lines.

Obviosly i am using QT shared because is stable and is looking nice. This Virtualbox version is fully compatible with QT from Arch. The mantainer's task is take care of his packages. If the next Virtualbox's version it would incompatible with Arch linux QT then he would revert to QT's from Virtualbox again. If he doesn't want change then i would upload virtualbox_bin-qt to aur.

there is another virtualbox in aur that is doing what you want by default, virtualbox-sun

Try opening the Settings dialog when using the shared QT libs. VirtualBox crashes on my PC when I do that, so I use the shipped QT libs instead. Keep in mind, I use Gnome and I haven't tested with different themes (only Shiki-Dust).

Here it works perfectly. Did you try with a different theme, just to be sure? I use Oxygen.
