compiz on gnome (ati hd3200) display color problem

hi everyone. i've just installed arch linux a week ago. and im glad i switched from ubuntu to arch linux cause everything seems fast.

i have a problem though with compiz. when i ran fusion-icon on gnome and selected "compiz" as my window manager, my display would turn to faded light blueish color, but my windows/controls/desktop are still functional.
it's like my screen was overlayed by a translucent blueish screen. : )

i searched for the same problems around for 4 days now but haven't found any yet. so i was wondering if anybody could help me. pls.

i'm running: Gnome, on ArchLinux64, ATI radeon hd 3200
i've installed "xf86-video-ati" driver.

thank you in advance
