krusader alike prog for gnome

hi!
after a couple of years of using KDE i decided to switch to gnome. still, there is one utility that doesn't seem to exist in gnome environment.

I wonder if there is a program like Krusader - but for gnome.

I know I can run Krusader in gnome as well, but i really don't want to have kdelibs,kdebase,aRts etc. installed. however, i am using gentoo (again...); but gentoo lacks many features krusader has: drag&drop to xmms/BMP for example, bookmarks, tabs...

so what are you using?

Nautilus might be what you're looking for....

The Krusader interface is inspired by mc (midnight commander), you can use that if you want - though it's console based.

EDIT: try gmc too (Gnome Midnight Commander)

Oh, and before people start flaming - gentoo is a file manager, he's talking about that, not gentoo the distro 8)

oh yeah - when I do use a browser of that nature, I use rox-filer (pacman -S rox)

as a matter of fact I did want to try gnome commander but it is no longer maintained, so the snapshot for gnome 2.0 is unstable and ``for testing purposes only''. indeed, i couldn't build it since it uses some functions that are probably obsolete by now.
anyway, i think i'll just reinstall krusader. i can't get used to nautilus philosophy...
mc was great until i started using X11...
