[SOLVED] installing arch remotely via ssh

I saw in a post on the forums, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 24#p751124

That a install of arch via SSH is possible (if we don't have access to the physical computer).  It looks pretty straight forward, but I have a few question.  I did try the steps posted above, got internet connection as I was able to ping out.

However, when I try to SSH into the box (on a local area network for testing), SSH would not log me in, kept getting a message saying I was blocked/denied.  I will get the exact error when I go home to continue testing.

My question:

when performing this method, the post linked above doesn't mention that we have to install openssh or some other ssh server, do we need to install a ssh server like openssh in order for this to work?

Re: [SOLVED] installing arch remotely via ssh

I just wanted to report back, I performed the above and was able to install Arch remotely via SSH.  Thank you for your confirmation, it was what I needed.
