Unable to connect to wifi networks - MacBookPro

Hi everyone!
I've installed Arch linux on mi MacBook Pro and I can't get connected to my home wifi, even with security turned off. I've followed the wiki and installed the driver, (my chipset is Broadcom BCM4353) and i can succesfully scan the wirlesses with iwlist.  The problem is that i cannot associate with APs, when i launch iwconfig eth1 essid "qwerty" (qwerty is my network name, and eth1 the wifi interface) it does not associate. If i run iwconfig after trying to associate it tells ESSID="". If i try to connect using wifi-select or netcfg is says:  WPA Authentication/Association failed, even if i turn off wifi encryption. I don't know what to do! Please help me out!
