Hey guys, I need to start gnome with an automatic login (no password ever asked) with PAM, skipping gdm completely.

The problem is that when GDM is launched via rc.conf (or even with #x:5:respawn:/usr/sbin/gdm -nodaemon in /etc/inittab) in the live cd, gdm will not show up. Gnome starts fine however with the following:
x:5:once:/bin/su live -l -c '/usr/bin/startx >/dev/null 2>&1'
If anybody knows of a work around to get GDM working with PAM for the RTAI system, or to skip GDM completely and boot right up into GNOME with PAM, that would be excellent.
Also in /etc/skel/.xinitc I have set
exec gnome-session
I have spent over three hours trying to find a way to make this happen. I just want GNOME working with PAM via Archiso build script.
This is a project for EMC that I am working on so others can make their own live cd with a great distro like Arch instead of being stuck with the pre-built Ubuntu discs.
Please please help me, I have wasted so much time chasing my own tail. I cannot provide any logs since I cannot log into the live system since I have no password set, nor do I want a password to be set. I want it to be easy to use as possible.
Thank you so so so much in advance for helping me, I HIGHLY appreciate it all SO SO MUCH!!
