Hi.
When my Arch PC is booting, bash outputs
in the end of booting after login word (before I log in) on tty1. Can I prevent this text to output? It's objectionable when logging to tty1 and working there. I guess it's ALSA's text...

Looks like the output from the "amixer" program, if that's any use to you.

Yes, I use amixer and it has some settings in /etc/profile, so can't be deleted. Any way to disable this text output of amixer? It's really annoying.

did you try adding
--quiet
to the amixer command line?
Offline
Yep, it works. Thanks!
Does "--quiet" prevent text output of EVERY program?
Offline
run
program --help
to see a lidt of available options

"--quiet" option says "be quiet" there. Very informative...
