Hi,
I just updated pcmanfm, and I can't open more than one window. If I try to open another window the first one closes and nothing starts. If I have a window open and click on File -> New Window. Then I get a second one. I tried opening pcmanfm from two seperate terminals, I don't get any output so I can't really figure out what's happening. Anyone have an idea why?

I think this version of pcmanfm is in bit of a transition phase. I'm having some problems with other partitions, drives not being recognized, though not a problem with more than one instance. You can try pcmanfm-git and possibly it may be better.

I just upgraded to the git version, same problem. Very wierd. I don't really know how to troubleshoot this, because I can't get any output in the terminal. Or better said I don't know how to get any output.

On my machine, attempting to open the second pcmanfm instance results in the following crash being logged
pcmanfm[23675]: segfault at 2c ip 00007f251eecdd44 sp 00007fff2e5b99c0 error 6 in libglib-2.0.so.0.2600.0[7f251ee8c000+e6000]
I just use the option File > New window until the bug is fixed.

Ok, until this gets fixed I'm gonna stick to an older version of pcmanfm. Luckily I had an older version in my /var/pacman/pkg I just installed the older version of pcmanfm and the older version of libfm and things work fine again

Maybe it's libfm. Try out libfm-git.
