Hello,
Well, it's a little bit weird I bought a new printer, it's a Epson SX415.
Cups detects it as a Epson SX410, I tried to make it work with the following drivers:
So, with the CUPS+gutenprint drivers, it seems to work (cups says job sent) but the printer doesn't make a move. With the foomatic drivers, cups says:
stopped
"/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed"
If it works with Ubuntu 10.10, I guess I'll be able to make it work under Arch, but currently I don't know how to do that :s
Thanks

Can you check what driver Ubuntu is using. Type http://localhost:631 to go to CUPS administration page.
Also epson provides a GPL driver for your printer and it is the recommended one according to http://www.openprinting.org/printer/Eps … ylus_SX415
it's available in the aur under the name epson-inkjet-printer-escpr
Ah, good taste! What a dreadful thing! Taste is the enemy of creativeness.

Ubuntu is using the following driver:
Epson Stylus SX410 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.6 Simplified (color, 2-sided printing)
I'll check AUR

I tried a few tricks like blacklisting the usblp module, tried again all the drivers, but It still don't work
I don't understand why it does not work when I'm using the same driver that Ubuntu uses.

EDIT: [SOLVED] Thanks to cups-usblp and the help of archlinux.fr
