vino (Gnome VNC server) not working

If i go to system-preferences-remote desktop under gnome's menu, and check the checkbox that says "allow other users to view your desktop" vino, which is the vnc server in the computer, restarts once and again, and finally gets frozen.....
I mean... under the two first setting, you can see a string saying that your machine is visible from bla bla bla, and that you should be able to access it via the ip xx.xx.xx.xx .... for me... i get this message, and after a second, it disappears, and the message "Checking conectivity" appears again.... then the message that says that my computer can only be accessed by localhost.....
Its really weird, and that makes the vino service get locked......
