Hi,
Just of the top of my head here, but...permissions on the shares?
I have a network printer (server/printer combo) up and running here...but it is an all-Linux LAN here...you (I guess) user windows somewhere in there. If you can be persuaded to drop windows (hey it IS drag and DROP - innit???) here's how I got the printer up and ... printing

Hi,
Just make sure windows CAN share - but, I'm beginning to suspect you're already there
Okay, just a thought, here's what I think you got
smbclient //server/Data/ -U share
and you may need this:
smbclient //server/Data -U share
Noticed the difference? It's in the slash after "Data"...
Give this a whack, and do some feedback - if need be I'll sniff tru what I got here as docs...

Hi,
Ok, me and the trusted Internet...I did a seek&find
http://www.linux.com/learn/tutorials/29 … amba-setup
and
http://samba.netfirms.com/
I'd check for world-readability too...
Wow, now I remeber why I stopped using Samba... (no gloat intended) - last time I used it, I recall SeLinux getting in the way...
This is a possible solve:
setsebool -P samba_export_all_rw on
But...I dont think that will help ya...
If this (still) fails - lemme know...
Thor
Edit:
This is what the wiki has on Samba:

Edit:
After sifting tru what (little) I got here ... I'm out of ideas...sorry...
