xserver + XFCE4 at startup(without kdm/gdm)

Hello!

I'm using xfce desktop environment with some additional add-ons. I do not use kde/gnome at all, as I do not need them simply. xfce has got alsmost all I need.
My questuion is: how can I get x server to be started at startup with xfce ?
Or to sound more right: Is there a separate/independent window manager that can provide user choosing options & xfce startup aterwards apart from kdm & gdm ?

thanks for assitance

I think there's wdm, xdm, and entrance (Enlightenment), if that's the kind of thing you're after.

Try XDM or WDM. WDM is bascailly XDM and is ready and waiting in the Repo's.

Just use xdm if you want a simple display manager. It can look very pretty if you tweak it a bit.
