Re: [ SOLVED ] Setting IDEA_JDK as an environment variable

Hi Skunktrader

I have tried setting the enviroment variable in ~/.bashrc and it does not see it ... In Ubuntu it was /etc/bash.bashrc so is this still the case in Arch ?

Re: [ SOLVED ] Setting IDEA_JDK as an environment variable

If you placed it in ~/.bashrc, did you remember to logout and login again?

You should really create a script and place it in /etc/profile.d if you want the change to be applied to multiple users.

See the all knowing wiki http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Startup_files
