Hello guys,
I have the problem that sometimes the networkmanager doesn't connect anymore to my network and always prompts me the window to enter my passphrase. Even after typing the correct passphrase it doesn't connect and just prompt me the window again.
This mainly happens after resuming from hibernation.
Any ideas how to solve this?
I tried already to stop the networkmanager daemon and then start it again but that doesn't help either.
Do you have similiar problems?

Uhh, how about restarting the network daemon? Just my two cents --'
/etc/rc.d/network restart
EDIT: I didn't read the topic well enough. *Hopes i could delete this reply*

I had this once under an old Ubuntu with gnome. Replacing the gnome network manager applet with the one from KDE helped. There's also wicd which avoids the network manager completely. See the wiki:

Reluctantly I would use the kde applet with my Gnome system. And wicd can't handle vpn connections via pptp so far.
That's why I still stick with networkmanager.
Any other ideas?

Have you tried using netcfg instead ... I have not had any problems at all with connections ......
Good luck

Hi, this is what I use after resume or suspend.
/etc/rc.d/networkmanager stop
rm /var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state
rmmod "unload driver"
modprobe "load driver"
/etc/rc.d/networkmanager start

Also I suggest you get cnetworkmanager, it's a CLI NM client and it can save time when the GUI apps aren't working.
