Hi,
Somehow, one fine day, a Gothic font established a limited presence on my desktop. YouTube videos get titled in Gothic, which looks really cool; I'd prefer it that way. VLC intro (tag/file name) looks equally swell. Everything, URLs, menus and all, in opera-devel is also Gothic, which isn't quite as cool, though. The rest of the desktop appears to be unaffected. How am I supposed to sort the situation out? So I could introduce exactly the same spicy touch, with the possible exception of Opera, on another installation?

Let me try another tack
There's nothing unusual in my System Settings -> Fonts:
General: Liberation Sans 9
Fixed Width: Terminus 9
Small: Liberation Sans 8
Toolbar: Liberation Sans 8
Menu: Liberation Sans 9
Window Title: Sans Serif 8
Taskbar: Liberation Sans 9
Desktop: Liberation Sans 9
The Gothic font in question is probably Isabella (usr/share/fonts/TTF/Isabella.ttf). Is there a way to determine why certain apps pick it for certain purposes?
