HI guys!
I've already searched round the internet, the forum and the wikis, but I could not get quicktime videos to stream correctly with firefox. I downloaded gnome-mplayer and gecko-mediaplayer (I think it was this one? Anyway, the gecko media stuff), but I can't get quicktime to work!
What can I do?
Thanks in advance!

What site(s) are you trying to get quicktime running on? You have to use some special tricks to get Apple trailers running, for example.
6.5.3.arch1-1(x86_64) w/Gnome 44.4
Arch on: ASUS Pro-PRIME x470, AMD 5800X3D, AMD 6800XT, 32GB, | Intel NUC 7i5RYK | ASUS ux303ua | Surface Laptop

NO, it's not them. It's www.winzpitv.com, raisport channel!

That site works for me, using gecko-mediaplayer and Firefox. Try disabling Adblocking software if you're using it.
In fact, to test if it's just that site, try the Apple trailers website (although to do so you will need to install the firefox add on 'user agent switcher' and set it to 'Quicktime for Apple').

Ok, so: can you tell me the precise steps you did to enable quicktime viewing into your browser plese?
Thank you in advance.
Also: do I have to uninstall vlc-plugin?
