I'm interested in seeing what problems people may be having with the 2.6.36 kernel, which is currently in testing. However, I can't figure out where the discussions are among those who are testing it.
The bug list linked on the Arch package page
(http://www.archlinux.org/packages/testi … /kernel26/)
shows only bugs from earlier kernel releases, not from this latest one.
I've been following the arch-dev-public mailing list, but so far the discussion has pertained to 2.6.35.x kernels, as best I can tell.
Thanks!

it could mean there are no bug reports for the 2.6.36 kernel.
if you have a issue, open a ticket yourself.

Well, I had some weirdness when I tried it -- mainly problems shutting down cleanly. I'm not at all sure that the problems were due to changes in the kernel itself. I guess I wanted to see if somebody else was having something like this before going public with it. Is that wimpy?

well... im using 2.6.36 and have no issues (at least new ones )
tickets with debugging info, logs, etcetera could help pinpoint the bug (or missconfiguration). everyone wins. so if you still suffer from it... do some research and file a bug report... if it happens to be an upstream issue..you could open a kernel bugzilla too.
