KDE 4.5.2 froze (SOLVED )

Hi there
I have problem with OpenGL and deactive it after update KDE4.4.5 to KDE4.5 and now KDE4.5.2
My system after less than a minutes going to freez and I have to press the reset button on my case
My Graphic card is Nvidia Geforce GT240 with Gigabyte board
I don't have many effects that they could active with open gl and have to use Xrender
When this problem suppose to be SOLVED ? When this bug wanna fix ? When could I use OpenGL like other ?
I install my latest graphic driver from  official Nvidia website

Uninstall that Nvidia driver completelly and then

pacman -S nvidia nvidia-utils

reboot and tell us.

Are you sure its a KDE thing? I am having this same problem within openbox, though not every few minutes but about once a day. I am unable to debug the cause of these freezes as after the freeze, only thing I can do is hard reboot by pressing the power button. Also the same problem is reported in the latest ubuntu as well. My guess is that some nvidia chips are affected by 260.x nvidia drivers.

I uninstall Nvidia driver but can not install nvidia & nvidia-utilis through pacman -S nvidia nvidia-utils
I have to change the command to pacman -Sf nvidia nvidia-utils to force the installer & finally install it
Now it's 10 min that I log in and don't see any problem with opengl
if there was any thing wrong I'll post it and asking for help again
Last question
Will I have problem because I force to install this driver or not ?

I have KDE and open box both , but I only have this problem  with KDE

about effects:
systemsetting-desktop effects-advanced, check disable functionality checks

about froze

do you use xorg.conf? try to add

Option "UseCompositeWrapper" "true"

to Section "Device"

But after install nvidia nvidia-utils I have no more problem ( thanks flamelab )
If there be any more problem in future I certainly try to do what you said
