Disable compiz autostart

Hi all. I recently installed compiz and configured it as wiki says. So i choose to autostart it with the preferred method (without fusion-icon under gnome). Now i want to default start my DE as Gnome and occasionally choose to start compiz.
During compiz installation I created the /usr/share/applications/compiz.desktop file as shown in wiki, and set this parameter in a shell:

gconftool-2 --set -t string /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager compiz

I tried to rename /usr/share/applications/compiz.desktop file but compiz starts without windows decorations

What i have to do to remove the compiz autostart?

Re: Disable compiz autostart

Change it back

gconftool-2 --set -t string /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/windowmanager metacity
