Hi all,
i'm trying to remove xfce but i get this:

root@myhost medeo]# pacman -Rs xfce4 xfce4-goodies
controllo delle dipendenze in corso...
errore: impossibile eseguire l'operazione richiesta (impossibile soddisfare le dipendenze)
:: network-manager-applet: richiede notification-daemon

Re: XFCE4: remove problem with network-manager-applet notification-daemon

no hints?
do you think that manually removing all single packages in xfce4 and xfce4-goodies can partially solve this?

Re: XFCE4: remove problem with network-manager-applet notification-daemon

i don't read italian but i think  network-manager-applet

depends on what you are trying to remove.

so you have to remove it first, or find an option

to remove dependencies automaticaly.

i've  just seen in another post

 pacman -Rs

ezik

Re: XFCE4: remove problem with network-manager-applet notification-daemon

solved: i've removed network-manager-applet:

pacman -Rs network-manager-applet

then i've removed xfce4 and xfce4-goodies

then i've reinstalled network-manager-applet
