Hi,
I compiled a vanilla 2.6.30 kernel, using the usual method:
# make bzImage modules modules_install install
and did a
# mkinitcpio -g /boot/kernel2630.img -k 2.6.30
And added the appropriate entries in /boot/grub/menu.lst
After reboot, my root partition is being mount read-only.
I have seen posts with similar problems, but my default arch kernel boots without any issues
there is a problem only with the compiled kernel.
