Hi,
I've just done a clean install on a HP Compaq 6715b laptop (64-bit).
Everything works just fine, except for the Xfce keyboard layout switcher plugin. When I try to add it to the panel, I get the following messages (in a terminal):
(xfce4-xkb-plugin:12624): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_destroy: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed
(xfce4-xkb-plugin:12624): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_destroy: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed
(xfce4-xkb-plugin:12624): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_destroy: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed
Then the properties window opens up normally and the icon appears on the panel as expected.
But when I click close, the plugin crashes with the following messages:
(xfce4-xkb-plugin:12810): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_list_store_get_value: assertion `VALID_ITER (iter, list_store)' failed
(xfce4-xkb-plugin:12810): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gtype.c:4181: type id `0' is invalid
(xfce4-xkb-plugin:12810): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: can't peek value table for type `<invalid>' which is not currently referenced
libxfce4panel-Message: Keyboard Layouts: screen changed: 0
libxfce4panel-Message: No valid plug window.
(xfce4-panel:12613): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_socket_get_id: assertion `GTK_WIDGET_ANCHORED (socket)' failed
(xfce4-panel:12613): libxfce4panel-CRITICAL **: An item was unexpectedly removed: "Keyboard Layouts".
Note that all other plugins seem to work fine. Also, it's a fresh and clean install, I've done pacman -Syu so my system is up-to-date.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bence
