A Win7 taskbar, Ubuntu Unity or OS X dock for gnome-panel?

Is there a widget for gnome-panel that I can add applications to and at the same time show open applications, with only one icon per application?

As the title suggest, I want something similar to the Windows 7 taskbar, or the Ubuntu Unity sidebar, or the OS X dock.

I'm aware of Gnome Do. But it has a separate dock. I want these application icons to appear in a normal gnome panel.

You should have a look at dockbarx.

Wich isn't working at the moment. I'm not sure what's going on, I even can't find a hint on the AUR comments.

It is working for me.

I just reinstalled it when I upgraded to Python 3.

It doesn't work for me. Installed a fresh Arch after Python 3. I'll give this an own thread. Maybe.
