Current state of the support of Clarkdales IGP

Hi,

I'm just interested in how well the IGP of Intels i3 works under Arch (couldn't finde good words for the forum search ^^).

I read an article on Phoronix but it this was a little old. So what's its perfomance regarding 1080p movies or Compiz/Kwin? Any experiences about gaming?

TIA

Use a mplayer patched with vaapi support and you'll get hardware decoding of h264 video.

In addition to that, the thing works well. You just have to keep in mind that it isn't exactly a fast graphics chip and that the Linux driver is behind the Windows driver when it comes to speed.
