[Solved] KDE Plasma Display Error?

I just reinstalled and setup KDE with nvidia drivers.

When I log in to KDE using the KDM there is this rectangle in the upper left of the screen.
It basically looks like a transparent window that I can't interact with - I just see its raised outline permanently.

It never disappears, is present as the KDE loads and remains the same irrespective of background image/color used.

What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Re: [Solved] KDE Plasma Display Error?

yes!

Turned desktop effects off and then back on and it went away.

Rebooted a few times and it has yet to show back up.

Thankyou for the help.
