When I log out and back in sometimes the panel applets crash or don't start. I resynced the panel and that doesn't work. I looked into the suggestions in this post https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=106218 which didn't help (I don't have a /home/<user>/.gconf/apps/panel file, panel is a folder). I don't have the mentioned applets in the thread either. Anybody have any suggestions?
Solution - Rebuild gnome-panel with abs.
