Hibernate and kde

One feature I miss from other pre-chewed distro is hibernate. To this date I didn't figure how to setup hibernate properly.

I'm using KDE 4.5.3.

I can hibernate with the hibernate from KDE, at least it seems to be hibernating.

But at boot it fail to load the hibernate image, I'm probably missing a hook at startup.

The is that page https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Su … ate-script that explain some little detail. But there is two method.

So my real question. What does KDE call for hibernate? What method from the previous document is it? What do you think is missing from my setup?

Re: Hibernate and kde

Have you specified your swap partition in your menu.lst file?

Re: Hibernate and kde

For me these two steps were necessary for hibernate to work on kde:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pm … nd2disk.29
and
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pm … esume_Hook
