[solved] Something broke alsa / sound / gstreamer or something

Hi!

I'm using arch x86_64: After some update (didn't restart for a week or something),  alsa / sound / gstreamer or something was broken. I got a lot of different weird errors from whaawmp and totem ("bla bla audio sink wrong whatever stuff missing or broken and crap bla") and have been unable to play audio or video files.

Reinstalling components I suspected didn't help. Recompiling totem, whaawmp, gstreamer10.0 and accidentally most of their build dependencies (stoopid yaourt! big_smile) solved this problem. Have not been able to reproduce the error since, should have tested & written down more before recompiling I guess. Might have been one of the dependencies or something the compile / install scripts did since just restoring the old gstreamer and totem packages didn't bring back the error.
