Error Booting on Macbook Pro

I'm trying to dual boot OSX and Arch on a MBP I bought about 3 months ago, following the instructions in the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MacBook) of course.  I had to install via the Archboot CD, but I am to the point where I have GRUB installed on /dev/sda3 (my / partition) and can start booting Arch.  However, upon booting, I get the following error:

Root device '/dev/disk/by-uuid/...' doesn't exist.  Attempting to create it.
ERROR: Unable to determine major/minor number of root device '/dev/disk/by-uuid/...".
You are being dropped to a recovery shell
Type 'exit' to try and continue booting
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
[ramfs /]#

/dev/sda3 doesn't exist:
[ramfs /]# ls /dev/sda3
ls: /dev/sda3: No such file or directory

The only thing in /dev/disk/by-id (and /dev/disk/by-path) is an APPLE_SD_CARD_Reader which points to /dev/sda.  /dev/disk/by-uuid doesn't even exist.  If I boot the Archboot CD, I can see all the appropriate /dev items.

Does anybody have an idea?

Re: Error Booting on Macbook Pro

What does grub's menu.lst look like?
Seems like this one is configured wrong?

Re: Error Booting on Macbook Pro

search for the grub installation via the grub bootloader and change the boot HDD to the one you find.
The same thing happened to me when Debian overwrote Arch's grub, it had the hard drives listed all wrong in grub's configuration files.
