Image printing problem

When I try to print an white and black image(black text on white page) the print result is reversed (white text on black page). I tryied diferent image viewers (eog, gqviewer, gthumb) an the same result. If I print an odf document or an pdf document the result is as it should. this behaviour ist only with image files.
Is there a way to solve this??

Re: Image printing problem

I have an HP Laserjet 4100N. I can not downgrade to ghostscript 8.71-3 because are some dependencies problems.
Only workaround I found, was to import the images in Latex or Writer.

If you have other sugestions I am open to hear.
